  1. New Mexico has so much to see and is so large. In the south of the state is Carlsbad Caverns. Awesome. You go into a cave 600' below ground. The different natural made sites are impressive. You walk down into the cave, but you get to ride back up on an elevator. That's a trip on it's own. A must see!

  2. New Hampshire is beautiful! It has about 20 miles of coastline on the Atlantic Ocean. Hampton Beach is the most lively spot along the coast- it has restaurants, shops, and a sandy beach (the water temperature doesn't get much warmer than 65 degrees though). Petey's Seafood in Rye, NH, on the coast has amazing chowder! A trip to Mount Washington in the White Mountain National Forest is a must when you visit NH. It has an elevation of 6,288 feet and you can either drive your own car, take a tour van, or ride the Cog Railway to the top. A drive across the Kancamagus Highway gives you great views of the mountians as well. NH is bordered by Maine, Vermont, and Massachusetts (all within a two hour drive or less).

  3. In New Mexico you go from open flat country to the Rocky Mts. Santa Fe is a great stop, as it is the oldest city in the United States. A must see is the Loretto Chapel in Santa Fe. The story is that the nuns prayed for steps to go to the choir loft. A man came and built the spiral steps and left town without pay. No one can figure out how he built them (including Uncle Bob). It has been said that he was an angel of God.
